A rebrand of a software development company that is owned by a super nice couple and a great client to work with. One of them is a veteran, hence the name Valyr, which is pronounced like valor. The only element we kept from the old logo was the eagle.

What people are saying

See what our vibrant community has to say about the Dare to Share experience.

I absolutely LOVE what @bentenwoodring and others have started with the #daretoshare24 initiative. As creatives, we need to be more open to sharing WIP, discarded design ideas, client work that's been left on the cutting room floor.

Aaron Poe
@saysAaron

I’ve learnt more about design in the past 9 days alone. Crazy!

Demi Oshin
@demiaoshin

This is probably the first time a lot of people posted their stuff... They’ve probably gotten more positivity and validation of their skills.

Imran Hashim
@imranhashim_

Really enjoying the #daretoshare24 movement.

It's fun to see lots of design work in the timeline again.

Nguyen Le
@newincreative

Jay Jihane

Day 1 almost officially in the books! I feel like all of X was the OG Dribbble. It was such a special day.

Here’s to many more!

Derek J
@heyderekj

One of my fears has been being more active on social media and sharing my work for fear of being judged, but definitely feel inspired and encouraged now to do so.

Aaron Romero

I like the #daretoshare24 challenge! I see stuff that doesn’t look finished, but it shows the creative process behind people’s work.

David Joyal

Prior to Daretoshare, I struggled to share my work. This has been a fantastic experience... Thank you for the initiative.

This place feels a lot like Dribbble in the good old times. People sharing good stuff, even if it’s unused, WIP design work. Lots of inspiration. Keep it coming!

FAQ

What if I miss a day?

No worries! Life happens. While the goal is to share every week, missing a day won't disqualify you. Jump back in when you can and keep the creative vibes flowing.

Can I join, even if the challenge has already started?

Absolutely! It's never too late to dive in. Join us at any point in the year; the more, the merrier. Your creative journey is your own, and we're here to cheer you on.

Do we need to post on a specific day?

No strict schedule here. Feel free to post whenever inspiration strikes or fits into your routine. The challenge is about consistency, not conformity. Make it work for you.

How did Dare to Share Start?

Our great friends @bentenwoodring and @callmejohnnie found themselves pondering the fate of their surplus Figma designs. In a stroke of inspiration, @devinsfountain proposed an alternative to the trash bin. Johnnie responded by Daring to Share on Twitter!

What format should I use?

Any format that speaks to your creative soul! Whether it's a polished masterpiece or a behind-the-scenes snapshot, share it in a way that feels authentic to you. The challenge is about your journey, no need to stick to a rigid format.
